AC VFD Scoop Series
At Fairchild International, we’re committed to using the latest technology in our field-tested battery-powered 35C AC VFD Scoop Series, ideally suited for slope graded mines.
Our AC VFD Scoops are equipped with a Baldor 35HP pump motor, and optional single or dual 75HP tram motors. The units also feature 240V tubular EnerSys batteries that increase battery life cycles while decreasing motor maintenance costs, a Variable Frequency Drive electrical system, heavy-duty frame and larger bucket capacity, expanded operator’s door and John Deere inboard planetary axles with wet disc service brakes.

Diesel Powered Scoop Series
At Fairchild International, we believe in designing tough and reliable equipment to assist mining operations in effeciently producing results. You will find these qualities throughout our 35C Diesel Powered Workhorse Series of scoops.
The units feature state-of-the-art technology; exceptional design characteristics throughout the machine, including a 140 cubic foot capacity center eject bucket with optional bucket sizes available. It also includes 38-44 inch tires and John Deere 1400 series inboard planetary axles with internal wet disc service brakes and hydraulically controlled differential lock.

Multi-Purpose Scoop Series
The Fairchild International Multi-Purpose Utility Vehicle Series adds interchangability to the Fairchild line of dependable permissible and non-permissible diesel-powered, and battery-powered underground scoops. The units features a fifth-wheel hitch that is part of a system for transporting materials, supplies and equipment to underground mines through the toughest conditions faster and more efficiently.
As the industry's most flexible mining vehicle, it also features exceptional design characteristics and can be converted by removing the fifth wheel assembly and replacing it with other attachments, including a scoop bucket, maintenance center and forks with a duckbill, giving you "4-vehicles-in-1".
Shield Hauler
At Fairchild International, we're committed to using the latest industry technology in our field tested, battery powered Variable Frequency Drive 36S-AC Shield Hauler.
This vehicle has proven stability under heavy loading in longwall operations with significantly lower electrical heat; eliminating costly motor and cable replacement or repairs. The 36S-AC features state-of-the-art technology and exceptional design characteristics throughout the machine, including dual 75HP tram motors, 72-84 inch fork length, and large capacity scoop bucket. The vehicle is equipped with 48-inch tires with durable inboard planetary axles.
Maintenance Vehicles

This unit, which can be customized to your specifications, gives the maintenance crew the resources it needs for timely, safe and efficient service and repair of mining equipment.
At Fairchild International, we know the importance of accomplishing more in less time. That's why our MSHA approved permissible maintenance vehicles and maintenance centers are ideal for keeping your equipment in top condition.

Continuous Miners
Fairchild mining systems are the only ones in the world that mine coal selectively by cutting and loading low-ash coal on the first swing. Without resetting the miner, you’re able to cut and load rock coal on the second swing, as well as handle the high-ash and high-sulfur varieties. Our selective mining capabilities also make it possible for you to mine more seams profitably because preparation can start at the face.
Because our design is center-placed, you get true wethead shearers, leaving room for air to sweep across the face and dilute dust or methane. The result is lower out-of-seam dilutions under the harshest conditions, which reduce your maintenance costs.
Continuous Haulage System
