Fairchild International Exclusive Factory Rebuild Process

  1. Dismantle and Clean: The machine is completely dismantled, stripped to the frame, and thoroughly cleaned. All components are then taken to the appropriate departments, such as electrical, hydraulic, fabrication, and mechanical. Components are inspected, repaired and returned back to the assembly department.
  2. Fabrication: Main frame and bucket will be inspected for wear, broken places and distortion. The process will put unit back to original equipment specifications.
  3. Electrical: All electric motors will be sent to an electrical shop for inspection and needed repairs. Control panels are completely disassembled and rebuilt. Lighting system will be inspected and repaired as needed. All new electrical wiring and conduit will be replaced throughout the rebuilding process.
  4. Hydraulic: All hydraulic components such as the pump, valve bank, and cylinders will be tested. Necessary repairs will be done. Tank will be thoroughly cleaned and a new strainer and filter will be installed. New hydraulic oil will be added. Note: Cylinder fits will be machined with new bushings and pins will be installed as needed.
  5. Mechanical: All mechanical components such as speed reducer, axles, and driveline will be disassembled and inspected. All components not meeting good working condition will be repaired or replaced. All new driveline u-joints will be installed.
  6. Reassemble: During reassemble, we will install the following:
    • All new electrical wiring
    • All new hydraulic hoses
    • All new oil seals as required
    • New bearings, bushings, and pins as required
    • Customer to supply tires
  7. Permissibility: All Fairchild Factory “Rebuilt” equipment is restored to its original 2 G approval. The original or duplicated permissible tags will be installed on the machine.
  8. Final Check: Customer Inspection is recommended before machine is thoroughly tested. Machine will then receive primer and a final coat of paint.
  9. Customer Inspection: Fairchild asks that a Company official visit our manufacturing facility and inspect your machine prior to it being shipped to your operation.
  10. Warranties: All Fairchild Factory “Rebuilt” equipment carries a three (3) month warranty against defective parts, workmanship, and/or material.
